PCM Moineau

PCM Moineau Pumps

Progressing Cavity Pumps

(Also known as progressive cavity, helical rotor and eccentric screw pumps)

PCM is the original manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps and was started by Dr. Moineau, the inventor of the pump, in 1932. Since that time PCM has developed a wide range of progressing cavity pumps up to 500 m3/h capacity or up to 200 bar discharge pressure for many applications across a great variety of industries.

The pumps are of robust construction for continuous industrial applications and when properly applied have very high levels of reliability and availability. PCM manufacture all their own stators in house for consistent quality of elastomers formulated specifically for this application.

Sludge

Gavo Series

A special open-throat pump for handling thickened and dewatered sludges or other high-viscosity products. Designed to match output from belt presses and centrifuges.

  • GTA – for belt thickener applications
  • GCA – for centrifuge applications
  • GVA – for non-sticky, pasty products, high dryness and high viscosity
  • GBB – for sticky, pasty products, high dryness and high viscosity
  • Optional integrated lime addition. Nominal flows up to 32 m3/h (50 m3/h for GCA)
  • Pressures up to 12, 18 or 24 bar (Special polymer injection processes usually make higher pressures unnecessary)
  • Constant non-pulsating flow
