The Robot company was taken over by ITT a few years ago and in January, 2010, ITT ceased production of almost all the Robot range. Production of some stainless steel pumps was transferred to Flygt in Sweden. Landustrie in the Netherlands has now extended their "Landy" range of pumps to include vortex pumps equivalent to the original Robot RW and RD models. These pumps complement the wastewater applications of their own submersible cutter pumps.
